I have been wanting to go out and shoot black & white for quite some time… not shooting in color and coming back converting to black & white with software. I actually went inside my camera and changed the settings to monochrome. Something about black & white – you have to shoot it to get the true feel of what you actually see (just my opinion). So today was my day. I drove to Millwood, VA, which is about 45 minutes. To add a little history the Burwell-Morgan Mill is located in Millwood. It’s only open Friday through Sunday, noon to 5PM. This morning was cloudy and my goal was to get there before the sun broke through.
As you can see from my images below, I really enjoyed myself. Images where taken with the Fujifilm X-T1 with the XF 14mm f/2.8 R or XF 18-55mm f/2.8 R LM IOS lenses. They all were processed with Macphun Tonality software.
Happy shooting!! 🙂 🙂
